PEREGRINE ADVENTURES COMMUNITY TRUST
The Peregrine Adventures Community Trust supports the development of workshops for adults and teenagers in our communities. These workshops provide a creative space for members to learn new skills and sell high quality handmade products to the local tourist market in Cusco, Peru and also to fair trade organisations around the world. Backed with financial education and training, members also participate in information sessions on a range of social topics such as women's and legal rights, family planning, how to create a sustainable small business, health and nutrition, effects of alcoholism and domestic violence. The idea is for members to work and gain an independent form of income to spend on the welfare of their families and to also boost self-esteem and create autonomy.

HOW DOES RETO PERU OPERATE FINANCIALLY?
To date, the funds Reto Peru receives via the Peru's Challenge Program assist in covering fixed running costs including wages and salaries, transport, necessary learning materials and resources, marketing, necessary construction materials and emergency assistance to community members.
Have a look at all of the Pumamarca School projects that Reto Peru has already completed since it started working there in September 2005 and its work on the Quilla Huata project.
However, Reto Peru cannot continually rely on the Peru's Challenge Program volunteers for developing sustainable projects for the future of the communities in which it works. Reto Peru needs to find additional support so it can constantly pursue new projects and support the communities.
