Meet the Mayor!

The Pumamarca School elected its first-ever student mayor, Maria Fernanda Castro Sutta. Maria, a ten-year-old fifth-grader, ran a tough campaign against students both younger and older than she. However, her platform promising a more efficient recycling/composting system and a better sports program convinced her fellow students that she was the best girl for the job.
