TESTIMONIALS

HELEN, 60 from Australia - volunteered in October 2005.

Thank you for such a great month - it has gone by too fast!

A wonderful experience in a special year for me. Thank you all for the friendship.

I shall never forget my time in Cusco. I am enriched by the people of Peru.

LINDA, 32 from Sweden - volunteered September & October 2005.

I had an incredible time with Peru's Challenge. Two months went by too fast.

Next time I will have to stay longer. Jane, Selvy and all the volunteers, I will miss you.

KATIE, 26 from England - volunteered in May 2005.

The projects and the work already completed here are truly amazing and I feel priveledged to have been a part of ensuring the excellent work continues.

Selvy and Jane are a true inspiration and I hope that I can take with me their same zest and enthusiasm for life and the work they do here.

And of course no forgetting all the volunteers who shared my time here with who made it so much fun.

PETE, 50 something from Australia - volunteered in April 2005.

Before my trip I had a little apprehension and maybe some doubt. But once I saw the kids smiles, I soon reaslised what it was REALLY about.

You don't come here looking for recognition or an award. It's the friendships made that are just reward.

It is now time to depart but by god I have taken a little bit of Cusco in my heart.

BRIGITTE & ADRIAN 32 from Germany - volunteered in March 2005.

Thanks so much for the last four weeks of incredible experiences. We are never going to forget the Peru's Challenge team and have made many friends here with the volunteers.

PETER, 28 from Australia - volunteered November & December 2004.

Perus Challenge provided me with the opportunity to give a little piece of myself to a community that is really in need.

I will never forget the experience of playing 'Papa Noel' (Santa Claus) to a group of 400 children over a breakfast of hot choclate and breadrolls, the smiles and laughter from those grubby little faces will remain with me forever.

Thanks Peru's Challenge for a fantastic and rewarding two months.

TANYA, 27 from Ireland - volunteered in November 2004.

Just want to say thanks again for what honestly will be an experience I'll never forget.

NEVA, 50 something from New Zealand - volunteered in Oct 2004.

I miss Cusco, I miss the Picol School, I miss Felix (and his Pisco Sours), I miss Selvy, I miss Iris, I miss my two little god-daughters, and most of all I miss all those wonderful kids ... Say Hola to them all from me.

Everyone I talk to tells me I'm so passionate about this and how my Peru's Challenge experience has changed me. I know it has, and I love what it's done to me.

Oh, and by the way, I'm coming back, hopefully mid-year 2005.

WILL, 24 from Australia - volunteered October - November 2003.

It was a great experience to be a part of the initial development of Peru's Challenge. The friendships we had with the children made the work all that more rewarding. I hope to return to see them again soon.

JULIE, 34 from Australia - volunteered October - December 2003.

A totally rewarding and fulfiling experience. I would encourage anyone to spend time with the Peru's Challenge family and children of Peru, where you can really make a difference to the lives of children and families of the community.
